  11.     Texas Instruments has published "PC Scheme" for IBM PCs, PC workΓÇôalikes and their descendents.  I have not used it.  This implementation is said to be fast, highΓÇôquality and surprisingly inexpensive.  These qualities warrant my mentioning it here.
